Fogo Na Roupa is synonymous with exciting display of Brazilian dance and music, influenced by African, Latin, and Caribbean cultures. Fogo is a passionate company of artists, from varied cultural backgrounds and extensive professional experience performing under the legacy of Mestre Carlos Aceituno, founder of Fogo na Roupa.

Floorshows by Fogo na Roupa present a full spectrum of Brazilian dance, from the sizzle of Samba to the gravity defying Capoeira. Fogo na Roupa can drive the beat to a feverish pitch, and heat up audience with the fiery mexe-mexe (hip-shaking motion) of Brazilian dance, along with beautifully feathered and sequined costumes that dazzle the eyes.

Fogo na Roupa’s performance highlights include Bay Area opener for Brazil’s popular Olodum, Bay Area’s own Carlos Santana, and internationally acclaimed Brazilian recording artist Carlinhos Brown. Other highlights include headliner performances at California State Fair, opening act for San Francisco 49ers, halftime show for Oakland Raiders, Brazilian Independence Celebrations in San Francisco, the Afribbean Festival, Oakland’s own Carijama festivals, Chinese New Year Parade, and TV appearances on KGO, Channel 7, Univision and Telemundo.
